Have you lost your hope? The Bible says that hope deferred makes the heart sick. When you lose hope, it's almost as if you can't see God. Pastor John takes us on the Road to Emmaus with 2 people who had lost their hope. Thankfully, God did not walk away from them, but with them. Learn 3 basic principles that can help restore our hope and revive our hearts. Then we can turn our worry into worship.

Money. It’s a topic pastors dread speaking about, a subject that makes us uncomfortable. The Bible is unflinching, talking about money more than many other subjects combined. Why? Pastor John shares with us the one area in the Bible where God asks us to test Him, and asks us to shift our perspective to focus on the eternal. Because God doesn’t need your money, but you need God’s blessing.

Most of us have a different definition of what faith is. We may believe it to be a force, or a formula, or even a confidence. But the truth is that a misguided and unfounded faith can lead to disappointment and hurt. Faith is not believing that God will do what we want him to do, but rather believing who God is, and trusting that He can. In this message Pastor John talks about what faith is, what it isn't, and lays the foundation for this series about Dangerous Faith: A faith that gets noticed.

All of us, in the heat of the moment, can say things we regret; and even worse, things we can't take back. It's not about blaming the other person, it is truly about searching your own heart, seeking God for your own life, dealing with your own stuff, and then coming back together with a renewed commitment to communicate and truly listen to the heart of the other person. As only Pastor John and his wife Michelle can, they take us thru their journey of learning to fight fair and communicate well.
